Tailgate in the Grove

The Grove is what Ole Miss is known for and is one of the best college football traditions in the South. The players walk through the Grove before every game as part of the walk of Champions which is about two and half hours before the game. This is Southern Hospitality at its finest meaning that everywhere you look you will be offered free food and drinks. This is as elaborate as tailgating gets with flat screen TV’s and chandeliers in some of the tents. The grove will be absolutely packed both before and after any game with many people electing to just sit and the grove instead of even going. One thing to keep in mind is if you need to go to the restroom look for the “Hotty Toddy Potty”
